Si es el que más abunda tendría sentido que fuera también el que más abunde en la suplementación.
Suplementos de B12 con dibencozide la verdad es que hay muy pocos en el mercado.

La verdad es que no lo sé, por eso pregunto. Pero ¿no puede ser que ésa sea la forma ya metabolizada y por eso es la más abundante en las células? Si fuese así, la suplementación con esa forma no siempre tendría que ser la más eficaz porque el cuerpo podría no ser capaz de asimilarla, ya que para él es un producto final.

Bueno, si es la forma más presente en la carne parecería indicar que es la más biodisponible o, al menos, que es la que el cuerpo de un ex-omnívoro esperaría encontrar en la comida. Por supuesto, habría que ver si existen estudios.

Bufff, me parece que eso es muuuuucho especular.
Para empezar es más biodisponible cualquier forma de B12 "libre", sin metabolizar por un animal, tomada directamente tal como la producen las bacterias, que lo contrario. Sí, sí, tal cual como suena y aún a riesgo de que se le fundan unos cuantos miles de neuronas a los adoradores de lo "natural": se aprovecha más y mejor la B12 que venga en frasco o enriqueciendo a alimentos vegetales, que la que viene ya metabolizada y unida a las proteínas de las estructuras celulares de los animales, en sus tejidos y fluidos (músculos, visceras, leche, huevos, etc.).
Al final va a resultar que es "más natural" (que no necesariamente mejor ni peor) para un primate homínido vivir y comer en un ambiente plagado de bacterias, comerse sus propios excrementos, o incluso, tal vez asaltar las colonias de termitas, que hincharse a carne de otros vertebrados.
Y para continuar, el que haya "alguna gente" que diga "algo", es como no decir nada, se puede comentar como anécdota, que es lo que supongo que hace Norris en su página, pero de ahí a que sea representativo o indicativo de algo, hay muchísimo trecho.

Por cierto, que revisando mi wish list de iherb, he visto que esta B12 contiene las 3 formas de B12 (ciano y metilcobalamina, y dibeconzida).

Acabo de leer un artículo del 2010 que dice que si tomas al menos 1000 microgramos de cianocobalamina (que se absorbe a través de la mucosa independientemente del factor intrínseco) se puede curar la deficiencia de B12, osea que en principio se absorbe bien por ahí.
No puedo hacer copy and paste de la referencia y me da perezote copiarlo, pero si os interesa os lo paso (no hay link público).
